عز الدين طالب مغربي، عضو بالاتحاد الوطني لطلبة المغرب والنهج الديمقراطي، اعتقل يوم فاتح دجنبر 2011 بتازة، داخل الحرم الجامعي اثر مظاهرة طلابية، بعد اتهامه بالانتماء إلى منظمة غير مرخصة.
دخل عز الدين في إضراب عن الطعام يوم 19 دجنبر 2011.
في 23 يناير 2012, تبعه في ذلك 4 طلاب اخرون هم : إبراهيم السعيدي و محمد غلود و محمد فتال ومحمد الزغديدي، للإحتجاج على محاكمتهم غير العادلة و ظروف اعتقالهم.
في رسالة أرسلها من زنزانته، أكد عز الدين تعرضه للتعذيب. فيما أكد محمد غلود تعرضه لاعتداءات جنسية أثناء استنطاقه.

Ezzedine is a Moroccan student, member of the students' union in his city, Taza, in northern Morocco. He was arrested on December 1st, 2011, at his university during a students' protest and accused of belonging to an "unlawful organization".
He has been on hunger strike since December 19, 2011. His health is deteriorating by the hour.
Ezzedine was joined in his hunger strike by 4 other students detained in the city of Fez: Ibrahim Saidi, Mohamed Ghaloud, Mohamed Fettal, Mohamed Ezaghdidi. They are protesting their arbitrary arrest and the conditions of their detention.
In a letter Ezzedine sent from his prison cell he claims to have been tortured. One of the detained students, Mohamed Ghaloud, says he was sexually assaulted by his interrogators.
Please ask for the release of Ezzedine and all his colleagues. Their lives are in danger. Sign the petition. Use hashtag #FreeEzzedine on Twitter.

Ezzedine Eroussi est étudiant, militant de l'UNEM et d'Annahj, arrêté le premier décembre 2011 à Taza, à l'intérieur de la fac, lors d'une manif estudiantine, accusé d'appartenir à une organisation non autorisée.
En grève de faim depuis le 19 décembre il a été rejoint le 23 janvier par 4 autres étudiants de la ville de Fes: Ibrahim Saidi, Mohamed Ghaloud, Mohamed Fettal, Mohamed Ezaghdidi. Ils ont également entamé une grève de la faim pour protester contre leur condamnation arbitraire et leurs conditions de détention.
Dans une lettre adressée depuis sa cellule Ezzedine dit avoir été torturé. L'un des étudiants, Mohamed Ghaloud, dit avoir subi de graves sévices sexuels lors de son interrogatoire.
