24 septembre 2012 : une importante délégation britannique au procès d’Ali Aarrass

Ils feront partie de la délégation internationale au procès d’Ali Aarrass à Rabat (Maroc).

Professor Green, Professor of Law and Criminology King’s College London, head of Research in the Dickson Poon School of Law. Professor Green is also Director of the International State Crime Initiative (ISCI). ISCI is a multi-disciplinary, cross institutional and international initiative to collate, analyse and disseminate research based knowledge about criminal state practices and resistance to them.

Frances Webber, a retired barrister who specialised in human rights, immigration and asylum law. She is currently a visiting lecturer at Warwick University and Birkbeck College, University of London. She is Vice-Chair of the Institute of Race Relations, with which she has been involved for over 40 years. Her book : Borderline Justice, The Fight for Refugee and Migrant Rights (October 2012)


 


 
Dr Ian Patel, joined the International State Crime Initiative at the Dickson Poon School of Law as a postdoctoral research fellow in 2012.
Dr Patel is currently engaged on a two-year ESRC-funded project entitled Resisting State Crime: A Comparative Study of Civil Society (ref. ES/I030816/1). The aim of this project is to work towards a definition of the role of civil society in its capacity to resist state violence and authoritarianism.
His fieldwork is conducted in Sierra Leone and Tunisia. 




Liz Fekete executive director of the Institute of Race Relations and head of its European research programme. Book : A Suitable Ennemy : Racism, Migration and Islamophobia in Europe.

 
Naima Bouteldja is a London based French journalist and co-director of documentary film company, Red Rag Productions






Louisa Loveluck is a freelance journalist specialising in the Middle East and the International State Crime Initiative’s Egypt researcher.
